Sara Ferree is currently a last semester graduate student at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. She is studying International Development Policy and focusing on maternal and infant health. Before returning to school, Sara was the Grant Writer for The College Crusade of Rhode Island in Providence, RI. In 2005, she returned from a two-year stint in the United States Peace Corps in Jamaica where she served as an Environmental Promoter, an assistant trainer for incoming volunteers, and an all around community development worker. A graduate of Brown University with a degree in Economics, Sara also worked for Congressman Patrick Kennedy's 2002 re-election campaign, was a Middle School Advisor for The College Crusade, and is an avid traveler and student of other cultures.
